Hi there! I’m Sumner Bradley, a storyteller, Journalist, and behind-the-scenes production powerhouse from Potomac, Maryland. Growing up in the D.C. metropolitan area, I was surrounded by the pulse of news and culture, which fueled my passion for journalism from an early age.

My journey into journalism and production began at Louisiana State University, where I honed my craft as a Digital Director, reporter, and anchor for Tiger TV. I loved my time at LSU (Geaux Tigers!) and was even on the President’s List three times. But when a graduation scheduling conflict forced me to re-evaluate, I made the leap to the University of Miami—and I couldn’t be happier! In Coral Gables, I’ve been thriving, learning so much, so quickly, and embracing new opportunities. As an anchor and reporter for UMTV Newsbreak, associate producer for The Culture, and assistant director for Pulse, I’m refining my skills both in front of and behind the camera.

Beyond the newsroom, I have an all-star side to me—literally. I spent 12 years as an Allstar cheerleader, competing at the sport’s highest levels. I attended seven World Championships and even earned a silver medal (think of it as the Olympics of cheerleading). This experience taught me teamwork, grit, and how to perform under pressure—skills I now bring to every story I cover and every production I lead.

I’ve also had incredible professional opportunities, like interning with NBC4 Washington. There, I wrote articles, clipped video, produced push notifications, and adapted broadcast stories for digital and social media audiences. From editing in Dalet Galaxy to crafting engaging posts for TikTok, I gained hands-on experience in fast-paced newsrooms.

When I’m not reporting breaking news or stacking shows, you can find me cheering on the Miami Hurricanes, exploring Miami’s vibrant food scene, or reading articles on my phone.

Whether I’m interviewing athletes, anchoring a newscast, or perfecting graphics in Adobe Premiere Pro, I bring energy, creativity, and dedication to everything I do. I’m passionate about amplifying diverse voices, creating impactful content, and connecting with audiences across platforms.
